Built my own tools; grades recovered.
When I boarded at school, I kept missing homework deadlines — no shared tracker existed for the assignments we juggled every week. So I built a homework-billing mini-app that logs, schedules, and settles every task, then shared it with my classmates. It cut my missed work to zero and reminded me that the best tools are the ones you build for a real problem you actually live with.
An UWB PDOA auto-following shopping cart for complex supermarket environments.
A self-built tracker that logs every homework deadline and settles each assignment before it slips.
An interactive branching-story system for senior citizens' digital barriers.
Published in Electronic Technology & Software Engineering
This paper presents an auto-following shopping cart designed for complex supermarket environments. The system uses Ultra-Wideband Phase Difference of Arrival (UWB PDOA) ranging and positioning to track a shopper in real time through aisles and crowds, reducing staff workload and smoothing the checkout flow. Field tests validated positioning accuracy and robustness in cluttered indoor scenes.
2026 CCIR Summer Research Paper
This paper examines the K-pop photocard market as a case where collective preference diverges from individual valuation. Using price, trading, and survey data, it argues that speculative dynamics can lock participants into a collectively suboptimal equilibrium, offering an empirical view of how markets amplify group behavior over individual rationality.
